Three-day or four-day training session
on basic features and functions of PATS®. Delivered onsite.
Scheduled at time of initial implementation. Attendees include
PATS® users and database managers, as well as other key staff
involved in use, administration or oversight of outcomes data (e.g.,
physicians, service line directors, etc.). Hands-on instruction
and tutorial by Axis Application Specialist/Trainer. Curriculum
covers menus, toolbars and icons; desktop personalization; general
navigation; registry design and customization; data categorization
and question
grouping; data collection forms; data entry and editing; basic
data mining; and patient grouping. Curriculum also covers essential
analysis and reporting, including individual patient profiling;
patient population profiling; physician profiling; single group,
multiple group and cross tabulations; initial descriptive statistics;
M&M; and flow sheets. Additionally, as applicable, curriculum
covers ACC and/or STS data audit, harvest and submission; UNOS
UNet™ data
management for organ transplantation; and/or SF health surveys
and other scoring systems. Class size limited to 12.
Two-day or three-day training session
on advanced features and functions of PATS®. Delivered onsite.
Scheduled three to six months following initial implementation.
Attendees include PATS® users and database managers, as well
as other key staff involved in use, administration or oversight
of outcomes data (e.g., physicians, service line directors, etc.).
Hands-on instruction and tutorial by Axis Application Specialist/Trainer.
Curriculum covers high-level, multi-faceted analysis and reporting,
including control charts; T-tests; actuarial curves; risk stratification;
ROC curves; cumulative sum; runs analysis; extended descriptive
statistics; extended tabulations; chi-square; Bayesian predictive
modeling; and risk-adjusted trends (VLAD plots). Curriculum also
covers data validation and cleanup; advanced data mining; automated
macros; data graphing; image linking and annotation; document template
construction (for H&Ps, op notes, referral letters and discharge
summaries, etc.); registry-to-registry data transfer; and ODBC
data extraction and export. Class size limited to 12.
Two-day to four-day training session
on basic and/or advanced features and functions of PATS®, depending
on need. Delivered onsite. Scheduled any time, upon request. Attendees
include PATS® users and/or database managers, as well as other
key staff involved in use, administration or oversight of outcomes
data (e.g., physicians, service line directors, etc.), at discretion
of customer. Hands-on instruction and tutorial by Axis Application
Specialist/Trainer. Curriculum covers any one or more topics as
described above for PATS® Basic Training or PATS® Advanced
Training. Class size limited to 12.
Two-hour to four-hour interactive webinar
sessions on specialized features and functions of PATS®. Delivered
via Internet. Scheduled on regular basis, with dates and times
posted
at Axis Clinical Software UserWEB Center. Attendees include mix
of PATS® users and database managers from customer organizations
worldwide. Illustrative instruction and tutorial by Axis Application
Specialist/Trainer. Curriculum focuses on intricate details of
one specific topic, such as M&M
reporting, predictive risk methodologies, trending tools, data
cleanup or registry design. Audience size
limited to six or eight, first-come, first-serve, with advance
online registration. (Private webinar sessions available upon request.)
One-hour training session on PATS® security
management. Delivered onsite. Scheduled in conjunction with PATS® Basic
Training, at time of initial implementation. Attendees include
PATS® database managers and/or system administrators. Hands-on
instruction and tutorial by Axis Application Specialist/Trainer.
Curriculum covers all aspects of security, including user account
setup (login IDs); multi-tiered individual and group/role-based
privileges; password configuration and expiration intervals; auto
logoff periods; and account activation/deactivation. Curriculum
may also cover, as applicable, audit trail monitoring, querying
and reporting.
One-day training session on PATS® Import
Module. Delivered onsite. Scheduled at time of initial implementation
or add-on purchase. Attendees include PATS® users responsible
for managing data import from scanned documents or external source
applications. Hands-on instruction and tutorial by Axis Application
Specialist/Trainer. Curriculum covers delimited data file structure,
creation and conversion; import template properties, design and
construction; data mapping and transfer; and transaction, warning
and exception reports. Class size limited to 12.
